A weekly kickabout for ex-service men and women

Our Veterans Football sessions bring Chorley’s Armed Forces community together for friendly, small-sided games in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you hung up your boots years ago or play regularly, you’ll be welcomed from the first whistle.

Who it’s for

Open to veterans and ex-service personnel of all abilities. No trials, no pressure, just turn up, get moving, and enjoy the camaraderie you can only find in a group that “gets it.”

Session details

📍 Venue: Parklands High School (Sports Hall / 3G as scheduled)
📅 When: Wednesdays, 9pm – 10pm
💷 Cost: £3 per session
Format: Warm-up, simple drills, and small-sided games

What to bring

Comfortable sportswear and trainers (or suitable footwear if on 3G)

A bottle of water

Any personal medication you may need

Chorley FC began life as a rugby club, before switching to association football in 1883. Known as The Magpies since the 1890s because of their distinctive black and white striped shirts, the Club have played in six different leagues during a 135-year existence, currently playing in the National League North.
