Social Inclusion Football

Men's Session - WestWay Pitches, Chorley - Wed 8pm-9pm (£3)

Building Confidence Through Football

Football has the power to bring people together and our Social Inclusion Football sessions are all about that.

These weekly sessions are open to men of all backgrounds and abilities, offering a relaxed, supportive space to get active, make friends, and feel part of something positive. Whether you’ve played for years or haven’t kicked a ball in a while, you’ll be made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

Our Social Inclusion Football programme isn’t about winning matches, it’s about connection, confidence, and community. Many of the men who join us are looking to build their fitness, improve their mental wellbeing, or reconnect with others through a shared love of the game.

The sessions focus on light training, fun small-sided games, and teamwork, helping participants rediscover the simple joy of playing football while building routine and resilience along the way.

We know life can throw challenges our way, whether it’s poor mental health, unemployment, loneliness, or difficult circumstances and this group exists to remind people they don’t have to face those things alone.

The atmosphere is friendly, the football is enjoyable, and the friendships made often last far beyond the final whistle.
