A one week Summer camp for Chorley teens

This Summer we're launching a new training camp for your teenagers, running from 24th–28th August.

Designed for young people aged 13–16, we are offering an exciting week of sport, challenges and development, helping teenagers stay active, social and engaged during the summer holidays.

Delivered by Chorley FC Community Foundation, each day combines football, games, team challenges and healthy lifestyle learning in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment.

Young people will build confidence, develop new skills, make new friends and enjoy a week of engaging activities led by our experienced coaching team.

Dates: Monday 24th August - Friday 28th August

Venue: Parklands High School, Chorley

Ages: 13 to 16

Times: 9.30am-2.00pm

What to bring: Suitable kit, trainers or boots, water bottle, packed lunch

Holiday Activities & Food (HAF)

Free places are available through the HAF programme for eligible families.

HAF children can attend the morning session and either:

• be collected at 1:30pm, or
• stay until 4:30pm for £7.50

What to Expect

Football & Performance Sessions
Develop technical skills, improve game understanding and take part in competitive small-sided games and challenges.

Multi-Sport & Team Challenges
A variety of sports, fitness activities and team-based challenges designed to keep teenagers active and engaged.

Leadership, Confidence & Personal Development
Build confidence, communication and teamwork skills through activities that encourage responsibility, resilience and problem-solving.

A Positive & Supportive Environment
Delivered by experienced, DBS-checked coaches who create a safe, inclusive space where young people can thrive, make friends and challenge themselves.

How Much does it cost?

Daily session: £21.50

What should my child bring?

Suitable sports kit, trainers or boots (depending on surface), shin pads, a water bottle, and a coat for wet weather.

Do you cater for beginners?

Yes. We welcome all abilities and make sure everyone are supported to develop at their own pace.

Is it safe and supervised?

Yes. Sessions are delivered by Chorley FC Community Foundation staff. We follow safeguarding procedures and maintain appropriate supervision.

Can my child attend just one day?

Usually yes, subject to availability. If you are unsure, book the day you need or contact us and we will help.

Known as The Magpies since the 1890s because of their distinctive black and white striped shirts, the Club have played in six different leagues during a 135-year existence, currently playing in the National League North.
